Two kinds of numbers sit on this page, side by side, so you can tell them apart: what our records can prove, and what our chapters report from their own memory.

Counted from our records

  • 12active chapters, each inside a named public library branch
  • 16student teachers approved, counted as distinct people
  • 8classes recorded, all at North Wales Area Library
  • 10 of 10seats filled — Intro to Crochet and Its Basics, 4 August 2026

Seven Saturdays in a row, 24 January to 7 March 2026, alternating an adults' class and a children's class.

Reported by our chapters

about 720

students, reported

about 50

classes, reported

We ran classes for about two years before this platform existed, including workshops our chapter leads delivered offline. Counting those, our leads report roughly 720 students across about 50 classes. Those sessions were never entered as signups at the time, so the database cannot show them. We are working through our records to bring the history in.
